1. What is e-signature?

E-signature or electronic signature is used to get an approval on electronic documents legally. Also, e-signature are legal, trusted, and enforceable in almost every industrialized country in the world.

2. Can it be legally bind by law?

Yes, it can. E-signature was create by the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Ecommerce Act (ESGN) which cooperated with the Uniform Electronic Transaction Act (UEAT) and legally binding document if all parties choose to sign digitally. E-signature carry the same weight and legal efficiency as hand signatures and paper documents in some industrialized country.

3. How does it related to e-commerce?

E-signature help to minimize the risk of fraud and thus help secure online transactions. Also, it is easier to obtain user signature on documents. Every digital document that sign with e-signature is authenticated with a verified digital identity.

4. How can e-signature be verified?

There are 5 steps to verified the e-signature.

- Open the document with e-signature with Adobe Acrobat Reader.

- Click on Signature panel and choose "Signature Properties".

- Click "Show Signer's Certificate" and then "Trust" tab.

- Click "Trust Certificates" and then tick all the boxes under and including "Certificate documents"

- Click "Validate Signature" and then close the window.
